Utilizing acrylics, oils, and patterned paper, she combines the educational experience of a BA in fine arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, 2008, and a BA/MA in social work from the University of Nevada–Reno to explore themes of black and brown belonging, spirituality, pride, and vulnerability.

Battling the waves of life and relearning to trust the power of her talent, she has established herself as a professional artist as of January 2026. Exploring her craft after years of overcoming financial adversity, military service, career shifts, and stay-at-home motherhood, she brings an invaluable spread of life experience to her practice.

For the first time in 20 years, Kiki will showcase her work, selected as one of three unrepresented emerging artists for the 2026 River Arts Festival in Memphis.
